Parenting in general takes a lot of time and a lot of patience. There’s this saying, be the parent today that you want your kids to remember tomorrow. The first thing I did before picking up this book was asking my dad about how was his childhood and especially about his bonding with his dad. He was a little confused about my question. So then he finally said; I wish I’d a dad like yours, that doesn’t mean that I hate my dad. The kids of this generation don’t know how Lucky they are. We didn’t enjoy the freedom that you have today, I hardly spoke to him when I was a kid. But he was always there whenever I needed him the most, just like a Shadow. Those days the kids worshipped the father, like a God, but these days they look for a Superman within them. As time passed the idea of parenting might have changed, but not the love & bonding. To every kid his dad is something special in his/her own way. I hope the book you’re holding will give you a new dimension about the parenting, Happy reading.

One Minute Super Dad is one of its kind which is like a practical guide to bring up your children. Every page is a magic and you will not be able to stop yourself reading the book until the last page is not turned. Parenting isn’t an easy job, especially for the father. And this book will help you in excelling in it. It helps you to understand the right emotions that the child is going through and how one should deal with it without hurting the feelings of the child. It does put the mistakes you make into perspective, discusses its consequences for your children, and provides clear guidance on how to correct these mistakes for favorable impact on your children.

The best part of the book is the author not only talks about the one minute magic or one minute grenades, he also gives us a suggestion or solutions how to win over the problems with references to the people who have experienced similar situations. Filled with rich experiences and practical guidelines which have been practiced by people. Great efforts taken by the authors in compiling those moments. It helps in dealing with our daily life conversations in a simpler way. And how one minute can change the whole aspect of living, making your fatherhood memorable.

Overall, one minute super dad is something that every father has to read and learn something from it. Not every book can be read again and again, this is one such book where this just shouldn’t be kept in your bookshelves. One has to revisit reading it again and again. I rate this book with 4.5 out of 5 stars. And this goes to my highly recommended shelves.
